The Retro Roadshow at the Bay Area Maker Faire 2024!
The Retro Roadshow is bringing our unique hands-on pop-up museum experience back to the Bay Area Maker Faire on October 18/19/20!
Our 2024 exhibition is called “Racing Through Time,” and will give you the chance to experience the evolution of video game technology and design by playing a variety of classic racing games. We are making our final preparations now and things might change a little, but we currently expect to exhibit the following classic gaming systems, each presented on a beautiful CRT display:
Atari 2600 (1977)
Atari 800 (1979)
Nintendo Entertainment System (1985)
NEC TurboGrafx-16 (1989)
Sega Genesis (1989)
Super Nintendo Entertainment System (1991)
Sony PlayStation 1 (1995)
Sega Dreamcast (1999)
Nintendo GameCube (2001)
